The best way is to first see if the library subscribes to the material. Much of what Siena Faculty use in class is available via the Standish Library (search our collections here). If so, provide your students with the permalink to the article (librarians are available to assist you with this) in your Canvas account. Nearly all of the library's licensing agreements do not permit the direct upload of the article PDF. Permalinks are fun because they are secure, stable, and available only to the authorized Siena community (faculty, students, and staff), and they are extremely copyright friendly.
